Mary McPherson, Brainwave Optimization
My story is not that different from everyone else’s. I was born in the Bay Area of California, was adopted by wonderful parents, and was raised to always look at the bright side of life. From an early age, I had a love of things such as art, dance, athletics, math, and philosophy. Unlike many people, I was attracted to diverse things which utilize both sides of the brain equally. At the age of fifteen, I apprenticed with a master mural painter Ricardo Estrada and was absolutely mesmerized, falling in love with the creative potential in my mind.
A few years later, I attended San Jose State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. I went on to become a very successful Materials Science Engineer, developing the logical side of my brain. As an engineer, I worked for world leading companies such as Toshiba, EKC Technologies and Himont Advanced Materials and also consulted for DuPont New York and Samsung Korea. As a result, I have produced several published technical reports and hold patents for original research and findings in changing of molecular structures of plastics and producing optical thin films using gas plasma technology.
After working in the world of science for many years, I decided to re-explore my love of art, founding my own mural company, Elegant Wall Painting. Elegant Wall Painting became a success over night. Utilizing both my knowledge of chemistry and my love of art gave me a very unique perspective, one that few others could draw from. It was incredibly satisfying to see the wonder on my clients faces as I would unveil a work of art created just for them. What a wonderful life!
Unfortunately, something was not quite right. I began to experience foggy thinking, forget important things, feel a lack of motivation and overall sense of depression. I had become disconnected from my own life. Needless to say, I was not myself. I found it hard to concentrate, impossible to get organized and could not even get through a book without falling asleep. I tried everything I could think of to snap out of it, but nothing worked. I grew desperate as the years were starting to slip by me and I was feeling hopeless.
A friend told me about Brainwave Optimization, and it seemed to offer solutions to the symptoms I was experiencing. I was a little apprehensive at first, someone is going to do what to my brain? Well from my initial assessment, I was amazed. The assessment revealed that I was suffering from the results of a blow to the left frontal lobe which had happened six years previously! Additionally, it showed that I was in early menopause and that my hormones were running amuck. To my surprise, it also revealed that I had latent abandonment issues from my having been given up for adoption. None of which I had revealed during the assessment. Needless to say, I was hooked.
Over the next five days of Brainwave Optimization, I released these feelings and discovered that the entire process was both interesting to my scientific side and freeing to my artistic side. I felt clear, self-confident and more creative then I had been in years. I could feel that I was handling stressful situations with more confidence and ease.
Two weeks after my Brainwave Optimization, I was standing at my kitchen sink washing dishes and I looked up and saw my reflection in the kitchen window and I realized, I was awake! I was fully prepared to live an awoken life, for the rest of my life.
